Bug Fix - Problem with Systems Tables in SQL Entry 8 Months, 1 Week ago

Hi
FYI, put out the release for a problem that was occuring with System tables.
After the change, System Tables will not show up in the Table Listbox on the SQL Entry form. This is by design.. In an upcoming release will look at having a way to toggle the System Tables to show or not based on user input.
Please let me know if anyone has any input on this. Thank you,
Al

Dear Al,
well, there still are system views in my installation (version 1.30.2), being sysconstraints and syssegments, and one system table: dtproperties. However, even MS-Query doesn't suppress that when ticking off system tables, maybe there's a catch behind those 3 objects. I'm on MS SQLserver 2000 SP4
-regards,
Roland

Sorry for that Roland.. That is right.. Thanks for bringing it up.
Version 1.1 had the check box to exclude the system tables but this got missed when we went to version 1.2 !) Basically when the query builder got included in the project.
I am going to come back to this soon.
One of the problems that is kindof related is how to put these checkboxes and such in, as there is not too much space on the form. I think it would be very good if we can keep all the controls in the same area. But maybe there needs to be different tabs to make more space.
Hopefully the form won't get too confusing though.
Thanks and see you later,
Al

Sorry had to come back to this again.
I need to check this out. I havent looked at this since the version 1.1 to be honest. There seems to be something funky going on here.
I wasn't aware of that issue with MS Query. Thanks for bringing it up.
Will be back on this issue. Thanks again, Al
