Excel comes with a buildt inn MS Query app. that looks the same
so what is the differnece?

Thanks for signing up. Have to rush out now to work but will give you a quick reply.

First Query is a great tool and I really like it. But it has its weaknesses too. So the addin is a work in progress to try to make a better tool. It is not there yet though.

But I think it is much faster for one thing to use the addin - much less clicks.
Also, I think the query builder interface is much easier to use and at the same time you get all the advantages of query (including the ability to embed queries into sheets). It is alot easier I think to build complex queries.

The biggest thing though is that it is a work in progress. The addin for example will be expanded out to the other office apps soon enough.
Or for example it is on the list of things to do to make a form to manage embedded queries (not done yet in the dev version).

Have to rush out. If you havent tried the addin you should try it out and see yourself what you think..thanks, al
