FYI, the new version is available now for download here

Please note, you can only download the new version from here. We used download.com for downloads but it takes them about a week to process the file when you only have a free account.. So for now, you can only download the new version at this link..

Please uninstall the add-in first before installing the new version.

Also, it is a good idea to take a copy of the connection_settings.xml file before uninstalling as this way you won't have to re-create your database profiles. I will look into a way of storing these files but for now the best would be just to copy the file somewhere and then copy it back in after re-installtion.

The new locatin of the Conection_Settings.xml file on a Pre Vista version of windows is the equivalent of
C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\Application Data\sqlexcel

On a Vista version of windows, it is the equivalent of
C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\sqlexcel

Please note, the new settings folder is used for the connection_settings.xml file and also for the error log of the addin. Also, it is used to store the sample sql scripts that come with the add-in. At the moment, there is no real useful scripts that come with it but in the future we will add them in and I hope it will be a very good feature in the future.

This way all the backup files for the addin are in the same place..
