I don't like that it goes standard to another workbook. I also don't like the formatting of the rows standard (but thats more personal thing of course).

Yes that is right.

I really don't like the new workbook as default either. For the new workbook default, the reason I did it was to make it difficult to over write previous data (originally it was pasted by default to the active cell but I changed it). There needs to be some validation that there is no data there and then if this is the case paste. It is a bug that this validation is not there.

The other thing that will be added in (not too soon) will be the possiblility of the undo of the paste. The idea is to have an extra button on the toolbar that will undo the paste.. ? I tried this before but it got messy with big ranges.. Kindof need to store the entire worksheet elsewhere. But that can is slow sometimes with big worksheets.. Trying to figure a good way.

For the formatting it can be useful when there is alot of characters pasted into cells. But agree it should not really be the default.

Thanks Blitzoff. Will be adding in a settings form where the default setting can be modified and stored. This should get rid of both of these issues I hope.

Hope all is going good there.
see you later, Al
