Feedback from A 7 Months, 1 Week ago Karma: 1
Hi All

I got some feedback the other day from Andrew and am posting it in here so there is a bit of a running list. Please post up here if you have some ideas on how to improve the add-in. Thanks, Al

"Some features that would be useful.
A history of last run queries
Auto-connect to data source toggle (less clicks!)
Auto-paste to excel toggle (on close of add-in?)
Paste sql query to separate worksheet or top of sheet.

Execute doesn't seem to show up all the time (greyed out)
CTRL-E shortcut for execute
SQL Management Studio Style interface
Ability to write-back to SQL Server (not sure how you would do this, but it would be
amazing if possible.)"

Just to come back on one issue that Andrew mentioned.

"Execute doesn't seem to show up all the time (greyed out)"

I need to double check this but by design the main form was set up so that the Execute button and the Paste button would grey out (get disabled) when there is not a valid SELECT entered..

I will go back and check this but I think it is ok. It is just a little bit confusing as the buttons get disabled/enabled sometimes if there is not a valid SELECT.

Please let me know if anyone has noticed a problem with this functionality. Thanks, Al
